How To Fix The “Ticket ID Not Found” Error In WHMCS

Testing out your ticketing system in WHMCS? Usually the problem goes like this: I’ve just set up email in WHMCS and not seeing the message come through as a ticket request. WHMCS has an email import log where you can view errors.

Ticket ID Not Found Error

If you have any problems, you should view the Utilities > Logs > Ticket Mail Import Log for any specific errors.

Here you might see the error: “Ticket ID Not Found.”

This error indicates that you sent a message using your admin email account. Admin accounts are expected to only reply to tickets. Try sending an email from a different email address, as one of your customers would, and your message should appear as normal.
